We will remove access to this forum from those who do not post. Nothing personal. But it is important that there is both give and take. Greed need not fester here.

Those who do not post but are still here, are giving in private, which will in most cases bring value here in ways not readily seen.

Anyway, post or adios! What a Face

For those that disappear, I want to thank you for all the contributions you have made in the past. Very Happy

It will be manual. I think at least one post per month is not too much to ask.

Well, I am still around - very busy with our new baby since late Jul, 2008. So, please dont take away my access just yet.

Personally, it looks like most stock prices are back at early 2000s level - a bit insane. I think shopping time is coming - just not too sure when and which ones would be the best to buy yet.

Still here and my portfolio is slowing clawing its way back from the deep dark pit it fell into.

It sure is nice to know that not everyone is giving up. I long for spirited exchanges regarding stock analysis. Hope all is well with your little one, Earthmonkey. I miss your posts.

You have to think long term my friends. I have invested in some of the bleakest times in real estate and if you think long term, you will be ok. I just could not see the wisdom in selling out at the bottom. In my mind, the only logical thing to do at this point is to hang on to your positions that show promise. Plus, it helps that my positions are small enough in relation to my NW that even if they tank, I won't be hurt too bad.

Yeah, it is nice to hear that some people have not given up. I haven't either, but I've really done well at miss-timing stock movements recently, and depleting my cash "reserves" at a time when I can't really afford to lose. So, I'll spare people my stock anal-ysis... unless anybody feels like shorting everything I buy.silent Laughing

I've actually started to buy a few 'select' stocks the last few
weeks.
Considering how 'well' Rolling Eyes I have done in the junior resource
market, everyone should expect a severe downturn any day now Shocked

Blue Sky......I agree. I just couldn't sell at the bottom as I still believe in the precious metals. Also, like you, no single position will threaten my net worth. However, all in total....................

Thanks, md1. I will try to do that soon. Is there anything else? Maybe lower the subscription cost?

For paying subscribers: I just posted some analysis, including chart, in the Bull Horn section...possible upcoming buy.

Bull, You could also consider "bragging" about specific subscriber calls that worked out well, a week later. People need to get an idea of what types of trades you do. Many writers do that (and conveniently hide the bad calls...if you want to go there)

bull,
to maybe entice me and others - there might be a strategy in releasing things that are outdated... like trades/commentary/etc... from 1 month ago.

Yes, lowering the subscription cost would help many "charity cases", like me, out.santa Free trials work well, too. Or, maybe the first three months at a discounted price?
