| We need EarthMonkey to tell us if NMB has potential to breakout of a massive falling wedge here...or if this is a falling wedge. | |

| I dont know much about this one. But the TA chart do looks good. It is not a falling wedge but today, it gapped up with good trading volume. It looks like it has good potential for a quick trade over the next few days. On the other hand, I sold my BAY.TO last week (a quick trade) to buy LBE.TO. BAY jump up 15% today. I missed my profit. | |

| I talked to Louis Morin of NMB last week. He told me management would be in Calgary in the near future. Louis would not tell me why, but I think I have figured it out. Blackmont Capital has an office here, and today a big chunk of shares traded under Blackmont. I think Blackmont is buying in...If they do, they will probably initiate coverage and sell the recently aquired shares to clients. http://privateclient.blackmont.com/index.php/Blackmont%20Capital%20Corp/21/0Pure speculation on my part. I will continue to watch the buyers of NMB and post what I find. | |

| Just read that Bull...one question you might research is past experience of management...did they actually accomplish anything similar to what they're trying to do now? Their biographies are quite fuzzy...ounces in the ground are still ounces in the ground until the bars are poured (don't tell Jason!) | |

| Yep, I am trying to learn more about the management. I think they are more explorer, rather than producer types. They can always bring experienced production members on board later, or sell the asset. They do say that they're goal is to become produces in Canada, as well as Mexico. I will post more about all this as I get a better handle on it. So far this is what we have to work with. - Quote :

| http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~ifza600/catorce.htmlREAL DE CATORCEby Jim McCulloch - Quote :
The next day we got a guide, Arturo. He closed up his curio shop after we bought some things there, and attached himself to us and began showing us around. He found some horses for us to rent, and we rode out on a trail to the original mine in the area, a low-headroom hole pickaxed into the rock two miles from town. The "Discoverer" mine. One day in 1794 a prospector stopped to fix his dinner. He built a fire in a circle of stones, and molten silver ran out of the rocks and puddled under his pan of tortillas. So we were told.
- Quote :
This slice of the illicit past had become too unimaginable. It was getting dark. We went out into the cold mountain air and walked on a little farther to the western edge of the town, a hilltop overlooking a distant twentieth century, and watched the sun go down as the great bell of the church, made of silver, tolled behind us, Don Pepe pulling down his loud peals of faith, hauling on the long bell rope.

http://www.stockwatch.com/swnet/newsit/newsit_newsit.aspx?bid=Z-C:NMB-1424650&symbol=NMB&news_region=C Normabec refuses to pay Ascenta's fee in financing
2007-10-31 15:30 ET - Street Wire by Stockwatch Business Reporter It costs money to raise money. Rounding up investors and selling them on a company takes a lot of work, which is why companies hire other companies to help them do it. These other companies expect to be paid for their services. One such company, Ascenta Finance Corp., which is a small Vancouver-based corporate finance company, is suing Normabec Mining Resources Ltd. because Normabec has refused to pay it an agent's fee for a $1.2-million portion of a $3-million private placement. Ascenta alleges that Normabec owes it $84,000 and warrants entitling it to buy 213,333 shares at 45 cents for the fee. According to the lawsuit, Normabec and Ascenta signed an agreement at the end of January, 2007. Ascenta would find investors for Normabec. In return, it would receive a 7-per-cent cash commission and warrants worth 8 per cent of any money Normabec raised from those investors. If a financing set up by Ascenta involved warrants, and the investor later exercised the warrants, Ascenta would receive a 1-per-cent fee. The lawsuit, which includes sections of the agreement between Normabec and Ascenta, does not say whether this trailer fee was in cash or something else. Ascenta says it introduced Normabec to Passport Capital LLC at the same time, about two days before Ascenta and Normabec signed their agreement. On March 2, Normabec closed a $1.18-million private placement, in which Passport Capital participated. Normabec paid Ascenta its fee for this financing. On June 7, Normabec closed a second private placement. This one was for $3-million, and Passport Capital took down $1.2-million. Ascenta alleges that Normabec owes it a fee for this financing as well, but Normabec has not paid it. None of the warrants issued in the financings has yet been exercised. "They didn't read the agreement," says Robert Taylor, the lawyer representing Ascenta. He explains that once Passport became Normabec's shareholder, Normabec thought it could raise money from Passport any time it wanted, without paying a fee. "That's not what the deal was," Mr. Taylor says. Ascenta wants the court to sort out this difference of opinion and declare that Normabec owes it a fee for the second financing. It also wants court orders forcing Normabec to pay the trailer fees if they are ever triggered. None of the allegations has been proven in court.

| Lawsuit, in general, does not help make the stock bullish. It does not matter how valuable the assets the company has.
Anyway, It was a good trading stock. I was able to get only a few shares a couple of days ago and now I sold them for a very tiny profit - just enough to buy a good bottle of Bordeaux wine for dinner tonight.

| Ditto on that studbkr! I need people to buy more Napa wines until I can afford to quit my vineyard work there. Just need some silver & gold stocks to make 10X first! | |

| I also have concerns about the Normabec management. I think however the potential of their silver resources outweighs the liability from the issues over the fees so am keeping my position there for now. | |

Sadly for Napa wine, my partner prefers bordeauxes or Southern Hemisphere wines [South Africa, Australian Shiraz and wines from Chile and Argentina]. Unfortunately, even with the plunging US dollar, Napa wines are still over priced. But in a year or 2 who knows....
