| FYI: One of the Board members of MTO.V just posted pix and a visit report from the mine site on ValueForum.com. He's quite happy, despite my complaining about the recent dilution! | |

| I like MTO despite the recent dillution. I think they will get quite a bit of market attention, once the share overhang is gone. | |

| Bulk Sampling has begun at the Barry Open Pit TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE: MTO 60,220,524 shares
VAL-D'OR, QC, Oct. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Metanor Resources Inc. (MTO: TSX-V) is pleased to announce the beginning of a bulk sampling at the Barry deposit. The bulk sample is designed to determine the main economic parameters of the deposit. The first blasted area in the northeast extremity of the Barry deposit produced mill-feed material which will be carried to the Bachelor site. Metanor initiated bulk sampling of the Barry deposit with a 2,700 tons blast covering an area of 22m X 15m in the northeast extremity of the stripped area. A wide mineralized quartz vein occurring in this area returned 10.74 g/t Au over 2.5m in channel samples and a total of 545 tons of this material was extracted as mill-feed to be sent to the Bachelor site. A second blast covering an area of 12m X 22m in mineralized zones immediately to the west totalled 2,400 tons of mill-feed material evaluated at 4.10 g/t Au using channel samples across these mineralized structures on surface. Four northwest striking lines 5m spaced were channel sampled and returned intersections of 4.0 g/t Au over 10m, 4.15 g/t Au over 9.8m, 3.05 g/t Au over 10.9m and 7.05 g/t Au over 5.3m. Approximately 5,100 tons of material was broken in the first two blasted areas resulting in 2,150 evaluated tons of waste and 2,950 evaluated tons of mill-feed. The waste will be stored on a separate waste pile established at the Barry site and this mill-feed will be transported to the Bachelor site. A total of 2,950 tons of mill-feed material was produced after the first and the second blast and it represents approximately 58% of the broken material. The grade of this mill-feed material was calculated using channel sampling at 4.33 g/t Au. Transportation of this material to the Bachelor site should be initiated early this week. The Barry property is located in the Urban-Barry belt, approximately 65 kilometres south-east of the Bachelor Lake Mine and consists of 206 claims covering 3276 hectares. The Gold Resources for the Barry deposit were re-evaluated by Systemes Geostat International Inc. in compliance with NI 43-101 and are now estimated with a 2 g/t Au Cut-off at 385,000 mt at 4.23 g/t Au (52,300 oz) of indicated resources and 966,000 mt at 4.07 g/t Au (126,600 oz) of inferred resources (Press release of may 8, 2007). Metanor is presently working to rehabilitate the surface installations, including the Mill and the tailings. Internal components of the initial circuit including the crusher, ball mill and conveyors carrying the material up to the ore bin are ready to proceed with the material from Barry. Intense work is being executed on site to complete rehabilitation of the other internal components of the mill during the next weeks. Metanor is fully satisfied with all the work already completed on the Bachelor and the Barry projects and the work progress is according to the originally planned schedule. Intense surface sampling is continuing at the Barry deposit and other blasts are already in preparation. | "Madison Avenue Research Group 2008 Gold Price Forecast and Upside Valuation Summary on Metanor Resources Inc. Madison Avenue Research Group 2008 Gold Price Forecast and addendum to Supply Side Gold Mining Report with update and Upside Valuation/Summary on Metanor resources Inc. (TSX-V:MTO) as Metanor begins blasting rock for it's newly refurbished gold mill. New York, NY (PRWEB) October 16, 2007 -- Madison Avenue Research Group has published an addendum to its Q2 report that explored a global gold mining supply side predicament, offering a 2008 gold price forecast review and Upside Valuation/Summary on Metanor Resources Inc. (TSX-V: MTO) (OTCBB: MEAOF) as Metanor has begun blasting rock for processing at its newly refurbished gold milling facilities. A copy the addendum report/update along with new photos of current happenings may be viewed free of charge at: http://madisonaveresearch.com/07goldinsight02.htm Excerpts from report regarding Metanor: "For those not familiar with the story, time to pay attention is now as in Q4 2007 Metanor Resources will commence gold production, pouring their first gold bar. Metanor will become a gold producer at their 100% owned Bachelor Lake Gold Mill in the prolific Abitibi mining District of Quebec. With the refurbishment of Metanor's 1000 tonne capacity per day mill, initial mill output from the Q4 test batch is ready. Production next year should accelerate to 45K oz in 2008, ramping up to 65K oz in 2009. The mill is configured to produce dore bars of approximately 90% gold, with a small component of silver. MTO.V appears to offer exceptional opportunity; their 2008 and onwards EPS will likely be very significant as a debt free unhedged gold producer. The current market cap relative to expected revenues is disproportionate (analysts report pegs $3 per share price). "With plans to readily upgrade the resource base from over 500,000 oz of gold to over 1,000,000 oz, with approximately 60M shares outstanding and currently trading under CDN$1/share, the present valuation of MTO.V provides exceptional opportunity for investors. ...Metanor is now fully financed, there should be no further share dilution or bank financing in Metanor's future. There should be no further share dilution or bank financing in Metanor's future, as Mining Expert David Bonds put it 'they're a pay-as-you go operation with Class A properties on their books'. It is not often a new gold mine comes online in a stable jurisdiction, especially offering as much near term operational value and future potential as Metnaor. Once the shares that are currently available in its current trading range are absorbed it is likely the stock price of MTO.V will rise significantly. There is just too much going for Metanor and its future prospects, the window of opportunity being made available by shares at the current price level (while still available) are considered by those in-the-know as extremely undervalued with tremendous near-term upside potential." "This release may contain forward-looking statements regarding future events that involve risk and uncertainties. Readers are cautioned that these forward-looking statements are only predictions and may differ materially from actual events or results. | Like the research doc....
MTO is one of my largest holdings.
In level II, I see very small numbers of shares for sale at 90cents and beyond.
Even if you only half-believe the research reports, base on the Level II data, I expect the share price to continue to rise over the next few days.
Cheers................ | |

| Good to see Metanor Moving and Mining. Instead of just exploration, a little drill here and there for P.R., and shuffling paperwork like most juniors do to get shareholders hanging on. The stocks been a snoozer for me. But it looks promising now! "Poop or get off the pot." Is what daddy used to say. And Metanor may just reward us with a pot full of stinky sh*t. Yahoo! That a stench I can put up with. Ya' hears me peeps! Gold bars by the end of January sounds delectable! - Quote :
- MTO restarts the Bachelor Mill and should pour its first bar by the end of January!

At the Barry site which is located at 65 kilometers to the south-east of the Bachelor Mine, approximately 30,000 tons of ore were already broken and are presently being transported to the Bachelor mill.

| Great Junior company that now has a big institutional gold fund manager on their side. Rob Cohen from Dynamic Funds has just invested 3 million into Metanor. Another positive development. | |
